Cave B Private Villa Featured on Curbed Seattle

Brad Vancour

I am excited to share that my Cave B Private Villa is featured on Curbed Seattle today! This stunning Columbia River View Estate is just 2 hours east of Seattle by car via I-90; or under 30 minutes by air to Quincy Municipal Airport just 6 miles away.  Located on an isolated plot within the renown Cave B Estate Winery and Resort, this special home has sweeping panoramic gorge, cliff and valley views which the founders of the Resort specifically chose for their own personal residence. The actual home site was carved out by nature some 40 feet below the ridge line which towers 900 feet above the Columbia River. The views are truly breathtaking!

The 8.55 acre property and 4200 sf of living space is located within the heart of Cave B  Estate Winery & Resort; one of Washington State’s best known Wineries and recreational areas including the World Famous Gorge Amphitheater which is consistently voted one of the top outdoor Concert Venues in the US. The 300 acre Cave B Resort was chosen both for its natural drama and beauty, but also for its amazing growing conditions for premium wine grapes.  The latitude and soil conditions are similar to the great grape growing regions of  Europe, making this Washington location a very special place.

MISTY ISLE FARMS FEATURED ON EVENING MAGAZINE’S “UNREAL ESTATE”

Brad Vancour

On June 23, Misty Isle Farms was featured on Evening Magazine‘s “Unreal Estate.” As Vancour told King 5’s Eric A Riddle, “to be this close to Seattle and have a 500 acre property, this is pretty rare.” The segment covered a couple of in-home highlights, the 80 square foot shower area and the state-of-the-art climatized wine cellar, before discussing the true value of the property: the land. As Vancour described, Misty Isle Farms boasts unparalleled landscaping with 3,000 varieties of trees and rose types, numerous man-made water features (one of which is 3 acres), 8 miles of bike and horse trails, two PGA standard golf greens and a driving range, a private runway, and plenty of space for horses or cattle.

As the segment ended, Vancour told Evening Magazine, “you’ve got it all here. You’ve got your own sanctuary,” apropos given the sheer grandeur of Misty Isle Farms.

Misty Isle Farms has also received other attention from the media, as it previously was voted “Home of the Week” on the Puget Sound Business Journal and was also featured in Sotheby’s International Realty’s Perspectives.

Misty Isle Farms Featured in Sotheby's International Realty's Latest "Perspectives" Edition

Brad Vancour

We are excited to announce that our Misty Isle Farms listing has been prominently featured in the latest edition of Perspectives, a quarterly newsletter put out by Sotheby’s International Realty designed to provide insights into the global real estate market!

Listed at $43,000,000, this 525-acre land portfolio is comprised of 47 tax parcels, a private lake, driving range with a pitching and putting green to PGA standards, equestrian barns, miles of trails and a 2,200-foot private landing strip with helipad.

The largest island in south Puget Sound, Vashon Island is slightly larger than Manhattan and accessible either by ferry and private boat or aircraft into Seattle. The island retreat has more than 3,000 specimen trees planted within and around the perimeter of the ranch comprising some 200 varietals. The grounds are maintained by a full-time, registered arborist. In addition to the three-acre man-made lake, there are numerous water features that flow beneath six artisan bridges connecting expansive brick laid pathways throughout the private arboretum.

The 6,500 square foot main residence is just one of eight single-family homes on the estate and boasts a stocked cellar with a vintage wine collection. Originally crafted as an Arabian Horse Ranch, the equestrian estate features fenced grass pastures, world-class stables and even a 12,000 square foot indoor arena.
